Crush County

With June now behind us, here’s a little recap of my third month of daily sketches. I kicked off the month with my favorites, the Turtles (Donatello was drawn on May 31, but whatever). I intentionally put off drawing these guys for a while, because they show up in my doodles all the time, and I didn’t want to fall back on my comfort zones right off the bat.

I also got around to visiting a few of my other favorite comic characters, including Spawn, the Maxx, and the X-Men. Gambit is, as everyone knows, the greatest X-Man of all time (90′s all day long), and I’m particularly happy with how his sketch turned out.
